At the beginning of the first semester, we had a trip to welcome new boarding students and introduce Istanbul to them. We went to Chora Church and we had perfect time together. To meet new people, and speed time with them... That is the best part of being a boarder.

CHORA CHURCH
is an example of Byzantine Church.
is situated in the western, Edirnekapı district of Istanbul.
is converted into a mosque by the Ottoman ruler in 16th century.
became a secularised museum in 1948.

The interior of the building is covered by mosaics and frescoes.

  2. What a nice activity. The church is beautiful! I still haven't been yet, but it's on my list of places to visit this spring.
